Spooktacular Halloween Party and Costume Contest
Saturday October 23, 2010 ~ 8 pm
Join the crowd at the first annual Rosecliff Tavern Spooktacular Halloween Party and Costume Contest. Get out your best costume and compete for a prize! We’ll have basket giveaways, raffles, and more. Round out your pumpkin with drink specials and Jell-O shots. It will be a night to remember . . . or not!

The Rosecliff Tavern will be participating in the annual “Celebrate Monroeville” expo. Stop by our booth to meet us and sample some of the food you can find at the Rosecliff. The expo is at the Monroeville Convention Center – September 16, 2010 – 4 pm – 8:30 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for kids under five.

Yuengling Girls and taxes oh my!
Join us from 8 pm – 10 pm this Thursday, April 15th, to celebrate your tax return with the Yuengling girls (you did send in your taxes, right? – if not, we suggest you do so prior to attending this event!!)
We’ll have Yuengling goodies, drink specials, and of course, those very special Yuengling girls – the pride of Pottsville!
Join Our Co-Ed Softball Team!
The Rosecliff Tavern is hosting an adult co-ed softball team. There’s nothing more fun than cracking a ball out of the park! We can dominate the adult softball league! Sign-up and join the fun with the team. Your registration fee covers the cost of the team fee and your t-shirt and hat.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Saturday, March 13
Celebrate your inner leprechaun and join us Saturday night starting at 8 pm to party it up!
We’ll have plenty of Irish food, giveaways, a raffle to win gift certificates, and more drink specials than you can shake a shillelagh at.
Come for the Green Beer and the Jello Shots! Stay for the Jameson’s and the raffle. We’re raffling off gift certificates to a variety of local establishments and we hope the luck of the Irish is with you!

Welcome To The Rosecliff Tavern
The Rosecliff has a long history in Monroeville, and many mourned the closing of its doors back in 2005. Its reopening is part daydreaming, part chance, and lots of hard work. The new owner, Josh Parente, grew up in Monroeville and worked for years in the restaurant industry – starting as a dishwasher and ending up as a sales rep for a food purveyor. His dream was always to own his own restaurant one day – and that dream has become a reality.
Josh’s mom, Michele, used to work at The Rosecliff – you may remember her as the weekday, daylight bartender. Or maybe just as that blond behind the bar. When Josh drove past the old Rosecliff and saw the giant “for lease” sign out front – he thought – yeah, I could do that! My mom could help . . . my wife is going to kill me! Well, she didn’t kill him, or at least hasn’t yet – and they all dug in their heels and tried to figure out how to make a dream happen.
Pretty soon, the doors of the tavern will open. A lot has changed, but the U-shaped bar still holds court in the middle of the cozy room. We hope that you will enjoy the new face of The Rosecliff Tavern!
